Overall, I quite liked the quests but I wish we got further to actually seeing Nightdusk again... As always, I am blown away by these animations, especially the one of the spilt soda. My final wish is that the ice cream scoop gme becomes a regular daily, a bit like in one of the games I used to play many years ago called Mushi Monsters!

One of the first things I have to do when the Christmas shops come out is to try and make a Christmas outfit. This can often be quite hard to get the right match in colours but so that it also is wearable. I wear this on and off through the Christmas season. I really like it this year and a lot of the outfit was earned through Christmas wishes from Santa~

I'm really happy to say that I think soon you will be able to decorate your home stable! We have a crate of fish, paint and a sofa. I think the paint will be any colour so the first time you paint your home stable it is free and you can select the colour, and from then you must buy the paint.

Based on the front of Jollisters you can see a lot of furniture. This includes a pet basket so I hope that you will be able to have a pet in there, which will be cute! You can also see some curtains which will give your home stable a homely vibe. There is a nice table and very in your face sofa which add that personal touch. I think it will be nice to be able to design our own stables to make them a place for us!

Also, level 20 is now in game. It needs 70 000 xp and gives your rider plus 10 in everything. Yes, this does mean that level 20s will be better racers but you can get level 20 if you do enough quests!

In Jorvik City there are quite a few shops (almost all for the rider) that sell clothes. These are brand new clothes and most of the shops are in the mall kind of style meaning that there is plenty of room for lots of items to be added in the future. There is one clothes shop in Aideen's Plaza but the rest are at Governor's falls!

There's so many nice pieces of clothing here that I could't write about them all, so I will pick out from favourites. I really like the purple gloves, They are quite a nautral colour and could therefore fit into an outfit with purple as the base, overtone or undertone. I also like the yellow cardigan. I like the details of the hem and the buttons. I also love the texture as it reminds me of something that is crochated. I love all of the shirts with top things over the top. I think it would make a lovely club uniform as it has that smart-but-not-too-smart look about it. I love the black. dark coloured boots simply because I love the laces detail and it would match with a lot of outfits for the same reason as the purple gloves (they would be great together). Finally, I love the denim shots because I love the details on them and I was looking for something just like this in Summer, better late then never!

I love these clothes but I don't get how SSO designed 23 new pieces of clothing plus the new saddle bag shop on top of the new area. I wish they'd spent that time on expanding the area for the realise but oh well, I still like them!

I will post some of the quests tomorrow with another post as well because I feel like JC things must been everywhere and getting boring!

It's time to do the Jorvik City quests! I will do a seperate post with the Madison quests and of course expect the home stable and clothes posts later on.

I loved some of the animations in these quests, they were really good! I think these quests were more to help people exlore the new area and learn their way around. It's still pretty cool and I liked it!

It’s here, Jorvik City is here! There’s so much to write about, quests, area, new things, home stable furniture. But I climb on Wednesday so I recorded the quests but haven’t blogged about them or the clothes yet, that’s my plan for tomorrow. Tomorrow I will also expand on the home stable furniture since you get it through quests it will fit best there. Today I will jus talk about all three of the areas inside the City and use the captions to take you through them.

But before I start I’d like to say a few things, First SSO has improved so much over the years. There are so many awesome things in their new area. I really like that. However, I have two complaints. First you can’t take your horse. It’s the horse game and you horse stays lonely at FP? Also it is a ‘closed’ map. This means that you cannot run around all of it and you have to virtually travel between them.

I feel like that is the posh place in town where people who want a slightly quiter version on town life live. It's my favourite of the 3 places. Now, let's move onto Governors Falls (intesting name).

There's so much to happen around this area, this is certainly the centre of town! Moving onto misterious Pier 13...

There are so many potentional quests to happen here, I can't wait!

Overall:

The new area is very realistic and has a lot of future updates with the opening of Jollisters, DC, and many quests with everyone we haven't met yet from the guy on his phone to the dance class. I wish that it was bigger but I understand that with this much detail and new code it must have taken a very long time. I hope that we get Star Acadmey type quests soon as well as main story quests with Dark Core. I would also like some of the areas in the city to be opened up over time, but still quite frequently. I am most excited to visit the museum as I hope that you can learn about Jorvik's history there.

Very non SSO here, but I am a bit of a Potterhead. Actually I’m a massive Potterhead. I am in Ravenclaw, my wand is beech 11 3/4 inches, reasonably flexible with a core of unicorn tale hair and I am a chaser. In fact all of this is a major part in my new project. I have decided to write a fanfic blog for a made up character at Hogwarts. It will be updated daily with just a diary of her day. So you’ll travel through Hogwarts with her, when the  18th of December arrives and it’s end of term, she’ll be on the Hogwarts express. If you are interested in a story of common school stresses, trying to get onto the local Quidditch team, dealing with very real situations then you might want to give it a read!

So what do we know:

1. You get a bus from Fort Pinta.
2. There is a statue of Aideen.
3. There are several eating places.
4. There is a town square.
5. There are quests, possibly to do with the fountain.
6. There is a kind of kitchen?
7. There is a shop for antiques (possibly the museum)
8. There is some kind of florist
9. Trams are the main form of travel
10. Jollister is a shop that is ‘opening soon’ There is furniture in the windows, could it sell things for our home stables?
11. There is a Dark Core quests - new main story line quests!

It looks really good but I am disappointed that you most likely won’t be able to take your horse. Also, I hope that it is only open for higher levels, maybe 13 plus. I can’t wait for more main line story quests but if I’m honest I can’t get that excited for Jorvik City. The cities are not what I play SSO for, it is the horses ad the landscape. I feel like South Hoof was to balance that out. I feel like this won’t be a part of the map, it will be like the mall, disconnected from the rest of the game.

Well, it might be better then first looks.

I like life in the Valedale clan. I love the thrill of casting spells and don’t tell anyone I said this but I think I’m pretty good. Also, I finally understand what happened with my brother and why he left us. He had no choice.

My brother and I are closer then ever now. We both are in charge of monitor the trees around Jorvik and making sure that they remain happy and healthy. It was through oe of these jobs that I snuck over to say hello to my mother. The clans aren’t allowed to mix: it would confuse the system. But that doesn’t stop me loving her.

I am just one young woman (for I am now of age) in one huge mass of good and evil. However, I have a greater part in the story then you may think. someone had to discover the legend of Jorvik after all…

I know I shall never get the meet the girl who has the great honour of saving Jorvik. I shall never get to meet any of them. At least that was what I thought.

One day Fripp came to me explaining that some soul riders stay on Jorvik as a druid. They never die but must serve Aideen forever.

“It’s a long time to live for, so you will be in a state of being and not being. When Aideen thinks you are needed, you shall be and else you shall not be,” he told me.

It was a hard choice, but I said yes only after it was offered to Faro as well. And thus our story continues. One day I shall meet an extraordinary girl. But what I really want to know is:

Are you that girl?

I found this article and I just had to write about it.

One of the main things that it said was that soon (this month) an app that will allow us to raise a foal and then introduce it into our game. Lot’s of players are wondering and yes, either the app will cost or/and the foals will cost. But I still think that it will be really cool! I like the idea a lot and I hope it happens soon!

Another thing it mentions are the short films. This excites me because I love the main story line of sso and I would certainly read a book or watch a film about it. I love the magic and how you explore a new world with new rules. Also in 2018 a story book may come out.

To think that the game has progressed so much in incredible and I am very excited for these changes, but I am even more excited for Jorvik City…

When you are down, let the magic of Christmas cheer you up.

One of the best things in my life is snuggled up with hot chocolate talking to Frosty Roses while thinking about Jorvik City and seeing Fantastic Beasts tomorrow. I'm just so full of love and happiness at the moment and I don't want it to stop.

Have you seen the new Christmas clothes? There is a little boy who is selling the old ones and the regular shop owner has upgraded. I decided to buy a jumper as I really like the style. I also really like festive things that aren’t as in your face as a Santa hat but which make you feel the vibes anyway. I hope they add more new Christmas clothes after St. Lucia!

I saw this today and I’m interested. Friends of Li beware, you will be getting some requests to join! I’m guessing that if you recruit someone, they get a Star Rider and you get Star Coins or something like that.

I thought I’d help some people and clear this up. Yesterday everyone had all of their horses given a smiley face! However, you need to care for your horses everyday to maintain this. You can either make your poor stable girl do both the pasture and the stable or you have to bring all your horses back and give them the loving care and attention that they need!
