It's currently far too early in the morning to even be awake. So, for those who don't know (and I'm guessing that's not a lot of you), on the 31st May, I passed my club, Frosty Roses, onto a new owner - the wonderful Allison Cloudmore. Reason? I'd lost all interest in SSO (with the exception of hanging out with friends).
And yet here I am, on my SSO blog - again. In the last few days, I've felt myself more and more drawn back to blogging about SSO. I hardly log on anymore but I put so much time and effort into my blog, how could I not want to continue that? Honestly, I have no idea if this is just a flash of the second impulse or if I actually will continue with SSO blogging. Leaving SSO for me was never about stopping myself doing the things I want to do, I left because I didn't want to play anymore. I don't want to commit myself to doing anything but I will let you know what I do over the next few days. Until then, do expect some blog posts! Cheers, Li Ps. to everyone who has been checking the blog for the last month and a half (I can see over 200 of you have) thank you so so much, it means a lot.

The club blog has been a bit inactive recently, but I’m starting it up again. If you’re interesting in my club side of SSO (mostly about the events that we get up to), click here. I don’t talk about it much on this blog as I’ve already written it on the other blog. So if that’s the kind of things you’re into, check it out!
On the 12th of July, 2015, I was reading Alicia Starnight’s blog and I loved it. After hours of scrolling through the pages, I thought of recreating my SSO blog that I made a couple of months before and now, here it is! It’s so weird knowing that I have 200 readers - honestly if you’re reading this thank you so much. Blogging is a bit of an escape from the hassle of IRL. Almost everyday, I take 10 minutes to sit down and have a little rant or just have my say on what I want. So I thought I’d show you a few blog posts “through the ages” and I (hope) you’ll see how I’ve changed, this is word for word, awful spelling and grammar included! This is a nice little walk down memory lane for me so I hope that you enjoy as well.
“Set up a wonderful little fair full of food and a bonfire. Perfect for all those Summer Parties and weddings that are sure to be happening around this time of year !! There is even a Green pole to do some rather unusal dancing around! There is also a shop” - My first post, 12th July 2015, Midsummer Festival “Ummm.... yh...... beach glasses? Beach googles? Snow Googles? Yh. I will buy these when the snow falls on Jovick. They will be perfect!” - 26th July 2015, reviewing clothes. “Well I'll probally be up on a mountain today!” - 11th August 2015, yes, that is literally the whole post. “Look at this, a gimps into the West side of the map. In a few weeks they will open the South section, but I found this beautiful. I love the trees. I love the trees everywhere, and I love that each place have a slightly different tree. No doubt I will be talking about the merits of each tree when Fort Moria! I hope this area will come with Jovick City! “ - 24th October 2015, I was talking about different trees in game. “With all these new horses out I bet lots of you are having second thoughts on buying the first set of Icelandics. Well here is a little 100 star coins to help you save up again ДедМороз.” - 9th January 2016, I was talking about different trees in game. “Much to everyone's surprise I decided to run a Western event. Western riding in the game is often just looked over, and people normally do Cross Country, dressage and show jumping, which are all forms of English riding. Like English riding there are many forms of Western. We normally do Pole bending and barrel racing. But I taught everyone some trail and reining. It went very well and we got n event I'd planned for an hour in 45 minutes.” - 14th April 2016, Western event “It seems that it was forever ago that I wrote my last post. I’ve been playing tennis all week and I get home and I flop on the sofa. Then I log on to see my little frosty buds (ie the club I am in, Frosty Roses), then I’m so tired I sleep. I’ve seen the update and I’m looking forward to do it tomorrow when I should have a bit more time. I’m actually quite excited for more quests over on South Hoof as it’s been a while. However, I’m a lifetime vegetarian (never had meat) so fishing isn’t my thing!” - 17th August 2016, Update review “It can take a very long time to find the perfect outfit and looks good together. You spend 30 minutes running across the map for clothes and piecing it together. You go to stand at Steve’s with your friends before logging off. You can back on to find, to your horror, that one of those friends is being complemented on your outfit. They took 3 minutes to make it because all they had to do it get the clothes, not actually design it. That is creative work that you have taken.” - 19th December 2016, ranting about outfit copying I think I’ll stop there as I haven’t really changed much since then. Weirdly, in the past year I’ve barely changed. I can read the posts and still remember writing a lot of them. I think my writing has improved somewhat but not by leaps and bounds, as it did in the beginning. Well, I have some club photos to edit so tara! For what must be over a year now, I've had the same ponytail hair style. It was cheap but I fell in love with the simplicity of it. However, about 2 weeks ago I've noticed I've been using a different style on my alts because I really really like it. So why wasn't I using it on my main account? Well, now I am! I really like the style, it's cheap (important), it's brown (important) and I don't see lots of people with it (unlike that one from Jarla). So, here it is!
It’s the last day of 2016! I look back on this year and I can still think of New Year’s Eve last year. I haven’t changed, have I? I haven’t done anything, have I? I haven’t got better, have I? I wanted to make a list of all of my Star Stable achievements this year with the odd real life one!
1. Becoming a leader in FR 2. Blogging for a year 3. Winning a championship 4. Getting a high score of the day 5. Becoming owner of FR 6. Keeping FR going 7. Getting 200 readers on my blog a week 8. Getting 1750 views on my blog in a week 9. Getting my kayaking 2 star award 10. More active Instagram 11. More active blog 12. Skyping Star Stable members and talking 13. Winning Youth Speaks 14. Learnt to love myself as much as I love others Wooh! These are only the big things, many smaller things have happened as well. So it’s time for 5 goals in the new year. 1. Post daily on Instagram 2. Upload a video twice a week on YouTube 3. Enter more championships 4. Every member of FR is active 5. Be myself more Yay! I wish you all a Happy New Year. What are your achievements and goals? I’m definitely meant to be packing at the moment! Oh well, in true me fashion I’ve snuck off to write. Today I was playing a game with my sisters on the Apple TV and I got a badge ‘1000 clones killed’. Yes, not the best badge to get but I like it. It’s also in Club Penguin (something I used to play a long time ago). You could do certain things and unlock badges. Some of them with hidden things in game, others more obvious things such as getting over 100m in the air in the surfing flip. These are really cool and I’d love to see them in SSO. When you got a badge it would appear on the screen and both you and your friends could check through your badge book so you could try to earn more in a ‘friendly’ competition with your friends and club mates. I think the badge should look something like this: Well it’s good bye from me! I have posts scheduled everyday at 6pm (GMT time). I can be contacted over my Instagram, so goodbye and good night. Happy New Year! I’m back on Monday.
I was thinking today and a question came to mind. What is my aim in playing SSO? I thought that it was a very interesting question and so I decided to pursue it further.
So what is my aim? Well, one of my aims is to develop myself as a writer, through my blog but via SSO. I really enjoy writing but for some reason I prefer to write under a ‘under cover’ name (sending out hints for my next fanfic). My aims for the blog are to keep it going and to finish Cyth’s choice. Quick news about my fanfics. Obviously one is uploaded every Sunday and there will be 3 more parts of Cyth’s choice before moving onto a Star Stable spy series! But that isn’t in SSO. One goal I have is to help the atmosphere. There are so many poisonous comments and people who just like proving others wrong and having a go at them. I like to try and keep this at a minimum without getting too involved. I also have the goal of unlocking Epona on my second account, which would be amazing to do those quests all over again. Also doing the main missions would be great. But on SSO I mainly exist to have fun with friends and the only serious paths are co owning a club and blogging. SSO, for me, is just a place to chill while failing to ride around on your horse. Ps. I am looking for guest blogger. A guest blogger would write a post on my blog every 2/3 weeks. You need to have time to write in quality and quantity. I think you would mainly be doing reviews, but I am open to any other ideas. If you are interested please contact me @allaria.sso or if you don’t have Instagram [email protected] So this is it, my first comic strip. Ignore the story line and focus more on the presentation. I am very pleased with it! I hope to start up a weekly comic strip about ‘super Jarla’ - Jorvik’s female hero! Of course, her adventures are all about taking down the evil Garna and his minions.
If anyone is wondering, the story line behind this piece is quite simple as I wanted to just focus on getting and editing the photos but: 1. Girl arrives on Jorvik 2. Hails a car 3. Meets her cousins who run the fashion market 4. Goes out for dinner! (Click on the image to make it full screen.) It’s another Friday and this week Star Stable released a fashion market! It is a bit like the Horse Market but it contains clothes instead of horses. Quite a lot of people were getting annoyed about how small the update was but I think people should get used to the fact that at the end of the year the updates get smaller due to the fact that lots of big things are coming out. A new area, story quests and home stables. I think it is quite a cool addition and I really liked the clothes. Also I noticed two girls sitting on the fence and earlier today I was looking through Star Stable comics and I got I little bit inspired… Check out my blog on Friday! Now let's go and look at clothes. Out of all the bits and pieces around I took the red hoodie and the Autumn top home. The red hoodie looked super cute and had good stats and the Autumn top was very cheep. I managed to buy it all with the Jorvik Shillings I had earned with the apple bobbing. I quite liked the update today.
What did you think? Aye, so it's time for me to go away on holiday down to my Grannies! I honestly can't wait, I will be able to surf both my kayak and my body board. I, however, will have no internet down there so I'll be back on either Saturday or Sunday (depending on the weather). I've seen the last episode of the star stable show and I can't wait and I'm annoyed that I'll missing it. But these things happen and I'll get back in time to do the quests anyway. I'm just so excited at the moment! Well besides the new quests we didn't learn too much about future updates and stuff like that, but the quests make up for it! Eeekk! I love the bunk house type thing and I hope that we'll be able to go in there when there is no quest in there and we can use it as a place for filming and things like that. Also there are a few locations like Winterwell stables that are on your hidden locations but haven't been bought out in the game yet. Might this be one of them? I love these kinds of quests so expect them here on the blog on Sunday or Monday. While I have no internet I'm going to be working on Kitty's tale part 4 and another project. See you soon!
Is it just me who can find the leg wraps in game annoying? Yes the colours are nice, yes they look nice with outfits, but no they're not very realistic. Let's fact it, if Star Stable was real, we'd be wearing these Cross Country ones all the time, and yet there are so few in game. I wish so much that there was more ones like this, you can see the places where it would clip on. Somethings in Star Stable just aren't realist and I wish they were. I mean pots of gold at the end of the Rainbow, that's fine, but come on some of the tack that's out wouldn't be safe to put near a horse! Ahaha, well seriously though, wouldn't the game be so much better if we had more things like brown tack? I bought a very nice pair of brown boots the other day, but on the brown section there was practically no clothes compared to say the blue section. When is actual fact the colour brown is used more then blue in real life riding. I just had to get that out there!
Also I'm breaking free from trying to write three posts a day, blogging was losing its fun. So now I'll write when I want to say something, I'm sure this will still be often, just not as many times a day, also it will be around 6 - 7 that I post my posts, instead of around 10 as it is now! I hope for longer, better quality posts such as this, well nigh xx At last I have all the stars in the game! Very excited about this, just one less thing on the to do list. Talking about to do lists, I will be making my shopping list page on the blog, so you can see all the things I want to buy, and maybe steal some ideas! Also you will see it is a Valentines day theme at the moment, next I will go for a Spring theme.
Urrg, I'm so sorry for no posts since Tuesday. But Wednesday night I came down with a cold, which I have now. It is just the normal cold stuff, but in the evenings I'm just having head aches and coughing and I haven't been able to gt on here. So I have about 1342 posts which I have photos for (Ie check tomorrow) and I have started to work on help pages. So you guys can get help around Jovick. Here are my ideas:
That's it for the moment. It will take a while to record / map all of these things and put them nicely so they are in the blog side bar. There will be a help button and that will lead you to load of links. Expect it to be there in 2 / 3 weeks. But the first thing up will probable be Valentines day letters, since I want you all to be able to look at those ASAP to help you on Valentines day.
Ahaha let's just hope I'm feeling better tomorrow. I'll have a bit of sleep and just relax tomorrow morning, maybe practice some editing. Looking forward to buying one of the new kittens. More to come tomorrow. I have been trying to get a high score in a race. If you've looked at the "about me" page. You will of seen that one of my Star Stable goals is to get a high score of the day in a race. No more, when I logged on, I had a surprise!
What with going away for new year the blog remains a bit lonely and forgotten! Well don't worry I'll be restarting again on Wednesday, just going to let myself get back into the swing of school and my new club before I sit down and write a load of blog posts. I'm also working really hard on changing my blogs theme. So please bear with me a bit and be sure to check the page again on Wednesday for reviews of the new Icelandics. Tomorrow I'll be posting a bit on A) the club I'm in and B) the story quests.I will also be making more pages for the blog in the coming weeks and by the end of January this will be a site of help for the community... You'll see later haha. But until then good night and thanks for reading!
So I am here at my Aunt and Uncle's house, last night I was traveling and the day before my internet didn't work at all. So here I am and decided to tell you a bit about me in real life
I am very sad to say that a few nights ago North Trackers disbanded. It disbanded because Liv felt she couldn't do it anymore and when she was offered a place in The Enigmas, well it seemed perfect. TE doesn't know me very well, therefore, I can't join, yet. I tried to find a club and I found this very small (5 member) club However, on Friday, me and the owner talked about moving the club to Fast Tide, a new club in need a members, like us, but was already bigger. After much stress of getting us all there I am now in Fast Tide and I hope to have a good time there and make new friends. It is hard to start from the bottom of a club again, haha, but it will do me good. And maybe one day I will be able to join TE
Happy 1st of December! The Christmas countdown beguines! My Christmas countdown will start tomorrow, right here on my blog. I would of done it sooner, but recently I have found my internet really slow in the day and I have only really been on at night! Here I am getting ready for an hour of dressage with Loves. I would love to see Star Stable add dressage races, just like in the Spring Rider, as I enjoy dressage lots. I spend lots of time in the arena training and it would be great if I could get onto high score lists with my skill set, as I have come to accept the fact that it wouldn't happen with other races. At the moment, many riders miss out dressage, and those who do it do it so simply. Walk to C, the turn to X in a trot, at the top turn into a gallop. It doesn't capture the beauty of dressage, the technique involved. It just leaves you with an impression that it is just walking around in different gaits (speeds). -Lisa's long rant over-
Heya,
So first Frosty Roses disbanded on Saturday. I joined Steel Hunters then today, Steel Hunters disbanded and Frosty Roses was remade! So I am back in Frosty Roses! I also have load of exams and stuff coming out. One or two 6 minute speeches to write and mermorise. You know. The blog hasn't been coming first. But it will now! More posts to follow! Okay, so here are my favorite things from October! I tried to keep away from too much Halloween stuff. Favorite race I just love this race with the graphics of falling down when you hit the poles. I also loved the addition of the 4 bars and I felt it was a really nice little race. Favorite place Recently I have been spending more and more time in here. I feel it is so carm and peaceful. I love it! I am so grateful to my club and being here helps me remember that! I hope in the future they will add a little shop where owns can design uniform for the club and some doors leading on to a riding hall, just for the club. Hopefully with a little café (ten seats of so) at the edge. Maybe even a way of clubs competing against each other and trophies being displayed in the cabinets Clothing item I have spent so long looking for something like this, and I found it a few days ago! It is just a normal helmet. No finary and bright colours, a simple, black, helmet. I got it from the Eco Store in West Cape (it is at the South, by the docks). It has already become part of my red outfit! Tack item I love these! I have had trouble finding an outfit to fit them with, but their colours are so brights! I was just looking around my stuff, I found them and fell in love. Sorry, no clue where I got them from! Outfit
Hair & Makeup This makeup isn't something I would wear everyday. I found my witches Halloween outfit and was looking for matching makeup. In the Halloween shops there was only a green witches one. But this one matches the witches outfit perfectly! The purple lips and the star under the eye. This hair has been great! It just keeps everything out of the way for this time of the year. It is very cheep. The hair is found at the shop next to the fashion barn and the makeup in Heavy metal scissors. Horse This is Jadejoy. I haven't had time to add him to the horses page yet, but I will do tonight! He is already level 13 (I brought him on Tuesday last week). He is getting me loads of personal bests and it so cute! He is my little baby! Update Fort Pinta's remake of course! It was lovely to see how much it had changed and I loved the little monkey quests that came with it. Also the heaps of xp and free clothes that came with SSO birthday? Yes it was a great update! Edit This was done by @piper.mcknight She is really talented and amazing at edits. Go follow her on instagram! Blog Click on the picture to see this amazing blog! It is in Swedish, but she has a translate feature on there. It is detailed and gives a nice impression on the world of SSO What were your favorite things this month? Let me know!
