Spoilers of the latest story quests Hello! I'm still trying to get back into blogging and my blog is a bit of a mess on my view because I'm half way through editing it to a whole new theme, so everything is a bit crazy right now. I have about 150 photos from the new quests to look through (and I haven't even started midsummer quests). I think instead of making a blog through of it, I'm just going to upload a gallery of the photos for me to look back to. But today I'm going to write about the update! A while ago now, I made a post talking about 'badges' in Star Stable and, on Wednesday, they came to the game. (Don't you just love it when your theory is proven correct?) So here they are: There are currently three pages of achievements that all look like this. They are all, at the moment, racing related which isn't really my favourite thing to do (although I don't mind it from time to time). I hope that they add ones related to other things at another point because I think that it would be more enjoyable for me. This is the screen you get when you complete an achievement. You can complete achievements at 'bronze', 'silver' and 'gold' level. I think that this idea is good because it means that, especially beginners to SSO, could have a shot at getting 'bronze' but would have to work a bit more at getting silver. I also liked the way that some achievements could be earned through normal playing of SSO while others are earned if you go out especially to complete the achievement. I think that this, overall, is a really cool addition to the game as it just adds another dynamic of what you can do in Jorvik. I think that many players will find that this feature gives them a little bit more to do in game. I would especially look forward to some achievements related to social activities or clubs. Finally, the other main part of this week's update: story quests. I don't want to talk too much about story quests here but I really enjoyed them and thought they had had a lot of work put into them and were really cool. It's nice to see SSO releasing more main story quest lines and putting more work into them. I hope to blog about the quest lines over the weekend (I probably won't write anything on Friday).

Hey guys! This weeks update included two main features: customisation of the starter horses and a brand new camera tool. First, I took a look at the camera tool. The camera tool is something that players have been asking for for a very long time. Although I have a MacBook and therefore have no issues with taking photos in game, many people with windows computers do so this new feature is very helpful for them. Here is the interface when you open the camera: The game freezes when you go into the camera which means you can get some awesome action shots, like above. You can move around the perspective and zoom a bit, which is very useful. In addition, you can do some basic editing with some basic filters and you can add the SSO logo in the four different corners. However, the thing that excites me the most is the fact that you can change the time of day. As a player who cannot get on until after 6 most week days, I often miss the good light so now I can take nice quality photos again. For example, this one was taken at midnight! I think that this is really good for players to boost their creativity. I'm not that happy with SSO at the moment but this was a great addition to the game and I really enjoyed it. The second addition was the ability to, for 299sc, change the appearance of your starter horse, much like you can change the appearance of your player. I think that this is a good feature since when SSO updated the breed, many horse coats change appearance so players may not have chosen those coats, so it's nice they get a chance to change it. However, I personally will never change my starter. He has always been that colour and it is that colour that he will stay. Horses in the real world don't magically change coat!
Have you managed to take any cool photos with the camera yet? I think that this is probably the most hated on update this year after chat banning (which is weird because I don't think it's too bad). So without further a do, let's head into the update. So firstly, Jojo Siwa, an American singer and dancer (google her if you want to know more, because I'm not the person to tell you) will be doing the debut of her new song next week at the disco in Fort Pinta. In preparation, each day you can find 7 JoJo bows hidden around game and swap them for clothes. Don't worry if you miss a day because the bows will stay along with the bows for the new day! There is also a shop which currently sells 5 t-shirts which each cost 1sc or 10js - a very good deal. Now, where's the problem with this person coming to SSO? Well, SSO are yet to understand that most of their players are between about 11 - 16. Jojo is more for 6 year olds (she's the rainbows and unicorns type of person). Therefore, most of the SSO audience is not within Jojo's market and this is why she had got such a negative response for coming to the game. Although I do not like her, I have got some free/ cheap items from her coming and I can always not go to the disco. I think SSO made a mistake in adding her, but she's here now so you might as well try and make of the mot of it. Also, SSO have brought back the fashion market for a week - yay! I love the fashion market, but I was sad to notice that they only added some bridles. I think they could have added much more considering the market has been gone for months. Although some of the bridles are very cheap, I think that 119sc is way too much for a bridle. However, others are around just 25sc - which is quite a good value. You can pick up four new bridles for 100 sc which is an amazing deal. They are all western which doesn't tend to be to my taste, but they're still quite nice. My favourite is the "lake western bridle" at the bottom. They also released 3 morgans, which are already in the game. The morgans still cost their normal price but they game with free tack, namely a free bridle, saddle, saddle pad, saddle bag and leg wraps. I thought that this was a great deal and so I welcomed my new horse home. Welcome Holl aka Minihollow! The final part of the update was 20 new stars have been added to the game (I will make a video about finding them soon). I love finding stars so I think that this is a great thing. It's nice that star stable haven't given up on them and have been adding loads more recently. There was also a new way of viewing the stars that you have found which I thought was pretty neat: I filmed all of this, plus a bit more, on my YouTube channel. So please like and subscribe (totally not self promo). I actually think it was a good update, not the end of the world like some people were making out! We have a lot of good deals and cool stuff, even if I don't like Jojo Siwa.
Are you happy that Jojo Siwa is coming to Jorvik? And then you arrive in "Cloud Land". No quests or anything, you just get there. It was, well, pretty boring. It was extremely slow - not enough space to run around in at all. All there was was two clouds (one filled up with tents) and a rainbow connecting them. The only other thing in the whole area was a race which involved collecting horse shoes to earn xp. It basically just felt like the kind of game you get on your phone. The only good bit was your horse got wings but besides that it was very pointless and not as all relevant to the game. So I'm not very happy with that update, if you couldn't tell. But besides that there was also the Easter update with Easter hunts and golden eggs. Although the shops had nothing new in them, there was a new Easter outfit which I actually really like this year and think looks really cool. A predictably disappointing update.
What did you think of Cloud Land? Today's update was a lot bigger than expected with BRAND NEW story quests! I will warn you now that there may be hints of spoilers in this post but I won't be actually playing through any quests. The first part of this week's update was the 'coming of Spring' (that sounds like something out of Brambly Hedge). This was a new loading screen and launcher screen. It looks like this: It's very pretty but it's a bit too cartoony and not as detailed as the previous ones which was a bit disappointing. Oh well, Summer will come faster than I think! Onto the main part of this update: the (totally unexpected) story quests. I have officially played through them all (they did take quite a while). I will not go into them in too much detail here because I will do that in a couple of days in another post. I do apologies for not being on top of posts recently, but I am trying my hardest to grab a spare 10 minutes to write. For me, this was the best part about the new quests: But, for me and FR, I can officially say that the best part of the update was that you can now crouch where you want on SSO! I blogged about this earlier this year (on the 28th January) and said "Forget about needing a picnic, BBQ or chair, you could just sit on the floor" - well that now is a reality. All you have to do is press z (control on a Windows computer) and boom, you're crouching! If you then press w/ forward arrow, you can crouch and walk. It really is awesome and we've already used lit loads in events. I'm actually so shook that this has become real!
Thank you all for reading & bearing with me. Bye! Wow, a pretty big update this week! I was very excited to get home and play through it. It was about time that we got Herman quests so I'm really happy that he's now rescued. I will be blogging about these quests in more detail but it takes a very long time to get that together and I'm just scraping together enough time to write anything at all. As well as the new quests, we got three new horses added to the game - North Swedish horses. Last time, I really liked these horses so I was excited to be able to see some more of them. I just think they're the best that SSO has made recently and the texturing is so beautiful. There was one at Valedale and two at Firgrove, so I nipped around between those two places (doing a bit of training on the way) to look at the horses and here is what I think about them (bear in mind that I love the breed in general). This one is very similar to one of the horses before, just without the speckles. Like it's twin previously, I am not so keen on the face due to 'clumpy' colours. In this light, this horse looks really beautiful and I love the colouring a lot. However, in other light it does look very purple (spoiler, you can't get purple horses) which apparently makes it very hard to match with any tack. This is a big pity because it is such a lovely horse. Originally, I thought that this one would be my favourite. When I was reading through the new page in the cafe it just looked so much more beautiful than the other ones but now I'm not so sure. Although I love the colours, mane, body, featherings - almost everything, the face is a massive let down. It seems very empty and plane - like it needs more texture. I'm glad that it doesn't have a bright pink nose (such as some other SSO horses) but I just think there is something missing there that the horse would look better for having. However, besides the face it's a great horse. This was actually the one that ended up being my favourite. Despite the colours not being my favourite (although I still quite like them) everything else makes up for it. The texture on the coat, the gradient on the feet, the mane, the shading on the face is perfect and the details at the face are lovely. I think that this horse was pulled of beautiful with everything being just right and looking fabulous together. I think I have my winner! Overall, the horses weren't bad but I did prefer the previous one. However, there was still many great things about them (and some improvements to be made also).
The final part of the update was SSO fixing loads of bugs and adding in a way of seeing your wild horses colours in tack shops. It's nice to here about all those annoying bugs being fixed, but we haven't heard anything about the club name glitch yet - I hope it's fixed. Hopefully this will make the game easier to play for a lot of people. Which of these horses is your favourite and why? Today we were able to welcome the re-model of the North Swedish horses (more commonly know as the NSH)! Being the first horse that I bought, the NSH has always had a very close place in my heart. They aren't my favourite breed, but I still do really like them. But, as people who read Monday's post will know, I was very excited and hopeful for this update, so let's go and take a look: This one feels like a remake of my old NSH (you can see a photo on the end). Despite the fact that I think the colours work great, the mane is detailed and the leg colouring is great. The think that the shape on the blaze is really cute, but I think it lacks texture. As much as most of the horse is better in texture than more recent horses, the face still has a bit of work. This was my least favourite but I really liked them all so it's not saying much. Let's just take a second to appreciate the colour of the mane... It's so beautiful! The nose is also really lovely and I'm glad to see a bit more texture on the face (although it's not quite there it, it has the most out of all of the horses). I decided not to buy this one because personally I don't like how 'samey' it is, however I know some people really like the 'samey-ness' of it! So I think this one really is personal prefence This was the beauty I took home. Despite the awful lack of texture on the face (it looks awful, I swear) the coat won it for me - the dots are beautiful! I think that the mane and featherings matched perfectly and I loved the start on his head. All of these features outshone the awful face so he came home! Despite originally wanting to go for the black (because of the super cute mane), I decided to take the lovely brown home with me. Even though the face is very pasticy, the coat is amazingly detailed, she had the beautiful mane the same as the black and I just wanted her in my stable. So I've left her to settle in and she got to meet my other North Swedish Horse (who does feel a bit jealous but is glad I didn't get the palo). Look at the difference! Size, shape - everything. The featuring is much more realistic and so is the texture of the coats. The texture is amazingly detailed and I just love it. Honestly, I'm so happy with this remake in general (just not the palo) and I think that SSO have done a really good job. There is still work to be done on the faces, but the rest of the body is amzing. I hope that horses are starting to improve again. Well, I can hope anyway.
What did you think of the new horses? Hi there! A very long awaited update today, we can get to Pandoria at will! Also, we can go there with our friends which I'm really excited about (club events here we come). It was frustrating before so I am just so excited that SSO have listened to player's feedback and opened Pandoria for everyone all the time. You may only enter it on your starter horse. Each day, the portal will appear in a different part of Jorvik (I'm sure there will be timetables coming out soon). It looks like this: Once inside, I noted that it was the same place as we went to on the last story quests, with just a couple of differences. There are picnic spots and you can call for a pick up to the portal (there is currently a glitch that if you use this feature, you will no longer be able to see other players in Pandoria unless you leave it and come back). It found it very confusing and will spend the next few days finding my way around so that I can hope to spend more time there without being confused. We don't know how long it is staying (but I hope a very long time). Here are some photos FR and I took together in the new area: Another update (that I didn't actually get the chance to look at) are these headbands to be found in Mistfall: Personally, it's not something that I would wear but I think it's great how SSO are branching out to be using different accessories. It allows players to express themselves and it is also a lot of fun.
I hope everyone has a great day! Another Wednesday, another update. It was high time that Gary returned to Firgrove, and now here he is! But before we jump into the excitement of new horses, let's look at the new loading screen: I think it's really pretty, perfect for this time of the year., showing that the world is not a Winter Wonderland anymore as the snow begins to melt. I will try and write a little story about it like a did last time (I can feel one coming because I just know that the bottom girl is called Ruth and the other one is Sophie, so I think a story will form in my head pretty soon). Onto the main thing of this update: the wild horses. I was hoping that next time they came out, they'd be different models or the small ones again, but they were not. They are the same shire modal as last time, which isn't the end of the world, I just wanted something newer. Oh well! Let's go and look at them. Here is the one that everyone is calling 'Rainbowdash' (please don't). It's lots of people's favourite horse - I can see why. I love the colour down the front of the face and I really like the way that purple has been used for shading. I absolutally love the colours on the feathers. Plus, the eyes are a beautiful colour. However, I really didn't like the colouring on the mane. I just thought it looks a bit weird and personally am not a fan of it. So I decided again this horse. At first sight, I didn't like this horse because it looked so 'samey'. But upon closer inspection, I have realised how much I love the shading. So many different colours of gold that, I think, just work together so well. In particular: the mane and feathers. The only think I would want to improve is add a different colour to the nose as I think it feels a bit flat, like it just needs something else there. A lot of people got Pandoria vibes from this. I see where they're coming from but, personally, I don't really feel them. I think that the feathers are my favourite thing ever though! The colour is just the best colour ever. I thought I'd really like this horse, but I don't like the purple & white around the base of the mane. I just don't think it fits that well. Also, his front lacks texture so it just looks a bit samey. However, I love love his nose. Of course, it's very important to look at the horses in their non-magical form as well. So here they are: My favourite horse in this photo was the one to the right (the purple horse). I would buy this by itself. The colour is amazing and so is the fade from brown to the coat. I quite liked the black one of first sight, especially liking the texture in the coat and detail on the face. I really didn't think that I'd like the on of the far left (the gold horse). However, in magical form my favourite was the gold one, but I wasn't sure about buying it just because of the normal form. However, after much debate I did, and I'm glad I did! Her coat is nothing like the picture. It actually reminds me of my North Swedish horse (which was the first horse I bought so it has lots of fond memories) and is very texture (plus I love the strip on her face). It's just a very pretty little breed to right, especially in wild form: Did you buy any wild horses?
Wow, I have not blogged for so long! I felt that over Christmas I'd just come off of blogging completely rather than uploading crap quality posts like last year where I just wrote about my IRL day. Ok, so, I'm going to do just the normal Wednesday update post but I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas! I didn't expect very much of this update and so was aware that it would probably just be New Year's fireworks, so I was quite surprised when SSO threw two more things into the mix. The first was 6, or should I say eight, new stars in Mistfall. SSO said that there were eight availability but you could only actually find six of them. I made a video on the locations of the first six. As I mentioned, there are two more. They are both in an area that is closed off but you can jump across without glitching at all to get one of them (you need to get some crumbs from Dundull, there are plenty of YouTube videos showing you how to do it). Some players have almost managed to get the other one, but that requires glitching which I'm not going to do. I think that means that there's a new place in Mistfall coming next week, theory post is on it's way! Also, SSO have worked with a pop group called Dolly Style. I, personally, have never heard of them and don't like the sound of their music, but it is the kind of music that younger players might listen to. The music will be playing at Fort Pinta disco and, in addition, they have given us four free tops if we use the code: DOLLYSTLE. I think that this is really generous and the tops are actually pretty decent! Just as Christmas was different this year, New Years is different. Fireworks are now only avaibile in the Christmas market, which I think it a bit of a shame because there's no reason they can't be everywhere else. Fireworks have the same system as before, you buy a firework and set it off. This is what the fireworks area looks like: They have also added an hourly New Years fireworks display. At first I thought that it sounded really cool but it only lasts 10 seconds which is a bit short. I think it should be a lot longer and the small amount of time it lasts for is a major disappointment. New Years stuff may only be bought inside the Christmas market, which is again a shame because the whole of Jorvik celebrates New Year, not just Santa. As always, there were dresses being sold and half of the community seemed to be obsessing over this one blue dress. I must admit, it's very different from the other SSO dresses, which look like balloons, and it seems pretty wearable, which is really nice to see for the first time in game. I really hope there are more dresses in this style in the future. Finally, they added this feature to the horse market: It's good that they don't want to clutter it up but I am starting to feel that the horse market is becoming a dumping ground for the horses they they want to pretend don't exist so they chuck them in the horse market, they only come up once every other week and now you can't even see them all at once. I guess it's because they don't want to.
What did you think of this update? Today SSO bought us two new races. Sadly, due to IRL commitments I’m really behind on my dailies but my darling sister isn’t so she “allowed” me (I don’t think she had any idea about it happening if I’m honest) to go on her account to try out the races. They both took around 1 minute and 15 seconds / 25 seconds roughly to complete without trying full on for a high score, so they’re not particularly short races. The first race, the “Forest Race” included a lot of turning, especially with rocks to act as corners. They were also one case of a really cool jump. The second race was longer with more turning, jumping and was, in my opinion, a bit harder. It also had more of the cool jumps that I mentioned earlier. Compared to the other race, it went a lot further away from the station through the tunnel. Both races were quite nice. They weren’t particularly special but they’re the kind of race that I could get into. I prefer races without funny moving things, which these had. They were your pretty traditional kind of SSO race, which was quite nice to see again in the game. I thought that they were quite decent and there was nothing wrong with them. They were reasonably enjoyable to do with a bit of challenge (particularly when you’re taking photos and racing), but not too much challenge so I could actually complete them. The only real bad thing I’d say about this update was it doesn’t look like we’ll get to go on Santa’s sleigh this year, which is a bit of a shame because I always enjoyed that.
Hi! Mistfall is huge and there’s so many things to review about it and talk about. Here are the things that I really want to talk about - Dundell review - Main land - Quest line - Horses & pets - Clothes & hair - Jorvik Rangers So I’m going to try, in the next couple of weeks, do some of these while not completely spamming the blog with only Mistfall content. Originally, I was going to do just a view on Dundell in this post, but I realised that no one would have a clue what I was on about and would wonder on my thoughts on the rest of the area and update. I assure you, it’s all slowly on its way. For now, I’m just going to do a short line summary on my basic thoughts on each thing so I know I’ve done it. I love reviewing and talking about things and new areas on SSO do my head in. I just love them too much! There’s so much to write about and there’s so much writing inspo and it’s always all too much so I suffer a mini blogging breakdown. Ok Li, breathe, breathe and write. This won’t go into detail on each thing, but it’s the short version of what’s coming in the next few days. As many people would know, I was very worried about the release of Mistfall. I didn’t like the way that they changed the name and I was worried it would be too misty, like Dino Valley. Then, I got worried it would be like South Hoof - no village. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Yes, it’s small, but it’s very detailed. I am getting used to the style of the area and I love the plants and the animals that fly around. I love love love the layers and bridges and all little passageways. Dundell has good Viking heritage vibes, with lots of evidence of fishing and gathering. It’s also a nice cross between Firgrove and Jorvik City, with cars but Firgrove houses, which is a nice transition between them. I love the way that horses are weaved into the way that the town works and the general atmosphere is just great. I have so much more to write on this but not today! The quests were great. It was nice to get an update on GED again. I found them almost challenging in places, which is good, and I think that the story line has some more grown up parts as well as the normal boring “the meat is poisoned” parts, but I get that SSO has to reach a lot of different ages. This is hard to just briefly touch upon, so you’ll have to wait for more detail. The clothes are all detailed and look great, although are expensive. I like the way that you need to get rep to get them, we haven’t had rep in a while so it’s good to have something to work towards. I think it’s nice that the clothes all match the vibes of the area, it just makes the whole thing feel a bit more real. The hair looks cool, I got the pony tail which is the new style. I hope it suits me! I love the Jorvik Rangers. They’re so cool and “woodsy”. I am getting so much inspo about them! There’s not a lot more to say until I review in more detail. So until then! Those are my very brief thoughts on Mistfall. As said, up until Christmas there will be lots of stuff coming about reviewing the area, so I’m sorry in advance for the spam. What did you think of Mistfall? The main thing about today’s upset was new hairstyles. This apparently was the reason that they had to change our characters into monsters, so I was hoping for something a little better than this. But, before I talk about it, let’s look at them: I really like the colours, although they were quite standard, they were nice. The first hair style (braids going to the back of the head) is quite nice. I really do like the way that it waves. However, the plaits seem to be really flat on the head. I wish that it had some depth, either french or dutch, not flat. The second hair style is just really weird. It’s so sticky up at the front, like part of the hair is trying to take off! It’s just very strange and very unnatural. I guess that you wouldn’t be able to see it under the helmet, but still. Today, they also released some more photos of Mistfall: I’m glad that it doesn’t look so misty. It looks pretty decent at the moment. It looks quite magical and pretty. What do you think?
I’m looking at the clock and feeling guilty that I’m not sleeping. To stop headaches I need at leat 8 hours sleep, but 10 is the only one that stops them, so I need to sleep in the next 20 minutes. New animations today & an (awesome) new hat. Interested in reading my opinions for (most likely) no actual reason? Go ahead!!!! Here are my thoughts on the new look As you can see, as part of the new look, they have added new animations. These aren’t big changes but there’s that move above as well as smoother mounts and dismounts (they’ve got rid of the way the character throws the arm over - which was weird) as well as making you hold the reins, when you’re stationary, in a more realistic way. Those are images of the run and the walk. Some people hate them, but at the moment I actually prefer them. They’re less flouncy and more realistic. Maybe the run is a bit over the top, but I’m glad I don’t walk everywhere like someone on the catwalk anymore My head looks really odd and squashed on my shoulders. It makes me think of a rodent or someone who has a condition that makes them hold their neck oddly (I’m not trying to be rude or anything, it’s just how I see it). Maybe it’s just because of the shorter neck which I’m not used to, but still - it’s weird. Maybe I’ll get used to that in time, I certainly hope so because I really don’t like it at the moment. SSO ADDED POINTED WITCHES HATS. I love the look of them so much, and here they are: You get them in the Halloween shops. I don’t like the white one (which costs over 200sc, which is very over priced, and looks, in my opinion, awful). However, I do like the purple (99sc) and the black (almost 50sc). I decided to take the purple home with me as, although it costs more, it’s more detailed and I think will work best with my SSO Halloween outfit. I really love that these have come to game!
What did you think of the hat and animations? Hello, it’s Li and finally it’s time for the Hallowe’en update. I don’t really celebrate Hallowe’en in the real world but I do love the celebrations in game. As promised by SSO, this year we had lots of new cool stuff, as well as some seasonal favourites returning, so without further a-do let’s hop into the game. That was the first thing I saw logging in and I love it so damn much! It’s maybe not too much like the actual game but it’s still a really cute picture and I can certainly see a little story coming off of it… Possibly coming to the blog in the new few days? Eve’s sister decided to turn up, called Fae. They’re twins and actually remind me of my own two younger sisters (who are also twins). My sisters are called Emma and Fay, which is scarily similar actually! The quests basically involved picking up bits of material (that looked like toilet roll) from around Jorvik, including the toilet roll race! This toilet roll was put together to form this mummy outfit, it looks quite cool, I like the way all of the pieces blend together to form one outfit but it’s not something I would actually wear! This year, the difference was the ability to change your horses colour and stuff. There were six effects. three that could only be seen by you (fire, bats and darkness) and three that can be seen by everyone (zombie, mummy and skeleton). The cheapest are the private ones, which can be bought separately by 5 sc but it can rage right into the hundreds of sc for 15 public ones. I don’t really think it’s worth it if I’m honest. I tested some on my alt account: I actually prefer the ones that can’t be seen by anyone else. I like the way that rather than looking funny, like April Fool day, they actually add an air of spookiness to the horse. New year I hope for everyone to be able to see these and there to be more. The shop looks good, I like it. It’s the “mall style” but you can change the camera angle like you would normally, allowing for more adjustments. Also, you can zoom in and out which just allows for more detail to be shown - of course, it also happens to have an ultra cool Halloween theme. This year, the shop is selling things from previous years, including the Galloper Thomas top. It also has a brand new mummy outfit to match the magic horse and the outfit you get in quests. Personally, I’m not into it but I think others may be. There were also loads of masks. From Fripp, to druids, to Steve, you could get so many masks. Most cost around 150 js, but here are the ‘special’ ones that cost a lot more. I must say, I love all of the special ones and most of the other ones! Finally, this year the apple bobbing hasn’t yet appeared. I love the apple bobbing because you get lots of cool stuff with very little work. Will it appear later on next week along with the ghost train? Let’s hope so. I love the mix of old and new things to make a really good Halloween, once the apple bobbing is back, everything will be perfect!
NEW DRUID QUESTS! This was so unexpected for me and I guess everyone else (although Esme Silverforce did mention a theory about Ylva’s hair turning pink…). But it was cool anyway. As I said briefly in the last post, I’m not 100% right now so I have only completed day one of quests (which I’m currently editing). However, my delightful sister has told me that you only enter Pandoria once, so here are some images of my fun in Pandoria. I loved it as always, but wasn’t it so hard to find your way out of? Do tell me I wasn’t the only one who got COMPLETELY lost! I really LOVED Fripp’s room underneath the Stone Circle. I hope to have a full review on the room up tomorrow because I can’t go into enough detail here. I wasn’t so sure on the character Evergray. I didn’t feel that he was a druid at all and I wish that SSO had made him more druid-y. He is still a druid even though he got kicked out, especially as his brother is as all (Avalon and Evergray being brothers was an amazing plot twist). I think, however, that his outfit was wonderfully detailed and he had a lot of character - which was great. The whole magic at Guardian’s Dale was so cool. I loved the idea of the four soul horses coming together to light the thing up, but I really want to know about the fifth. Where do we stand in it? I think my starter horse, Lovemagic, is currently praying for a statue to be made in name of him! My horse is almost as vain as me. I haven’t finished the quests yet, so I’ll go into more detail sometime next week when it’s all together.
One final thing, I loved the new druid outfit. My sisters look amazing in theirs, Eva in brown and Bella in Green. I love the tack and I love the whole concept - if it wasn’t so darn expensive! I shall not be buying it, but I really do love it anyway. It's the time again where people levitate to my blog to see me ranting about the new horses, and don't worry - you won't be disappointed. So today SSO released new arabians, pinto colours. They're found in Crescent Moon, Fort Pinta and Silverglade Equestrian centre. So here's each horse and my opinion on it! I'm never really a fan of blonde manes, but I do like the colours used at the top of the socks and on the edge of the "patches". The nose looks so pretty! It's not too bd, but it's still too plasticy for me to like it, ew. Ok, what even is this. It looks like someone using contour and not blending it. Literally, SSO use a blend tool. The colouring is annoying, the weird shaded stripes are annoying and it looks like something out of a child's cartoon. It's just horrible, in my opinion. I really really really hate it and I wish wish wish wish wish wish SSO didn't make horses like it. This is my favourite out of the three. Although I hate the dark lines, I like the colouring and I do quite like the legs, I think they're cute. The face is the real winner for me. I love the nose and the eyes and the way it all comes together. It's still too plasticy for my liking but it tends to be less noticeable with darker colours. Ok so, I didn't like any of the horses enough to buy them, so what did I buy? Um well... Welcome to the family Fara! I prefer the old arabs 100 times more than the new ones. I've had my eye on this one for a while and today she came to join the Silentland family. She's currently level 4 and I love her so much. My goal is to start buying horses again and training them. I'll only buy arabs, lippis and iceys most likely as they're the only ones that I like. Maybe the odd Andy and Sports. Anyway, it looks so nice, having a good day and I hope you are as well!
Well, I was right in thinking that the new horses were a Mustang, Hanoverian and a Sports Friesian. I'm just sitting in the car, writing this on my phone because I have been kayaking. I won't get the chance to actually see the horses tonight which is annoying because I won't be able to talk about them after seeing them in game. However, I can write about them based on what I've seen on social media, including YouTube (which is where the photos coming are from). Well, I'm guessing you're reading this to see what I think so, without further a do, let's hop into it! Hanoverian- It's well known among my club that I hate Hanoverians. I loved the colouring (the mix of gold, on the face, and brown is just to die for) and the tiny little white patch on his head was also just so cute. I also love his legs and the mane and take but, the lack of detail? It's simply so plasticky that it's ruined! It looks like a bit of cheese. It’s really sad actually. I love the colours, I love the shape, I love the IRL breed but the lack of detail has ruined it on SSO! Friesian sports horse - I’m a bad person and I can’t actually see much difference in all of the different sports horses. I quite like the horse. The socks are cute and, apart from the tail being a bit shiny, it’s a lovely horse! I really really love the shading on the socks, they look so smart. Mustang - The one issues with grey horses recently on SSO, is their muscles are too defined and too dark which looks very unnatural. I like the legs, especially the way the black blends to brown, and I like the mane but the tail seems to be a bit too brown/ blonde and they don’t match at all. I don’t think any are for me but they aren’t that bad considering some of the recent horses that SSO have released. I just want the detailed, matt horses back so bad! I think it’s a decent update as SSO will be starting work on the area of the year so do expect the updates to get smaller as they aren’t really what they’re focussing on right now. Ah well, it’s been a long day - good night! Well, I was right in doubted the Moon Festival because instead we have new quests. I prefer to film doing them because it's just so much easier and lets you see all of the animation so here is my video of today's quests! I really enjoyed them! Ok, they weren't connected to the actual story line but still, they were well animated and I loved the part where you clicked on the picture for clues and circled it. It was also cool that the chipmunks were responsible and I couldn't handle the cuteness! You got a decent amount of XP and it's quite good considering SSO are working on a new area - Firfall. The quest line had something more needed but the animations really were amazing!
Hello there. So, today’s update was a Hanoverian race. A lot of people are quite annoyed about it as they do not own a hano (lI’m laughing so hard because it just auto corrected hano to hand) so they cannot do it. However, as long as in the future there are races for horse breeds that I do have, I think it’s quite cool. Yes, it’s not my horse breed this week but in the future I’m sure there will be a really nice race for my horse. You can get 10XP just from talking to the dude at Silverglade Arena so you might as well go ahead and do it. The actual race gives you 350XP and looks quite cool. Just like in the open house race, there are cross jumps as well as water jumps - which look amazing! Little tip, if you own a hano and you’re training another horse then do the race on the hano and collect it with the horse you are training. I would really like water jumps in the game permanently, not just when you’re racing (my hopes for the new area this year). I think it’s been an ok update actually. I didn’t expect anything that big after Pandoria just two weeks ago. It’s quite a nice idea and if it was a breed that I had, and liked, I’d love it but, I don’t, so for now it’s not my cup of tea. But, if they make a Lipizzaner dressage race then I’ll be so happy.
