It’s the first of April and so it’s April Fools day! I’ll be logging on soon to see what prank Star Stable have in store for us this year. But first I wanted to do the Monthly favourites again because I feel like it’s a good way to sum up each month. So let’s go! This month my favourite piece of clothing was very hard to choose. In the end, I had to go with these amazing shoes from fashion week. I don’t actually own them on Li but I have them on my alt as I made an outfit with them and I am obsessed! They’re so textured and adaptable to so many different outfits. I love all of the laces and they’re something that I do actually wear in real life. They feel like something that my alt (Ally) would actually wear around town! When it comes to favourite piece of tack it has to be an old favourite. I’ve had this for about 2 years now as it’s a apart of the riding instructor, leader and owners uniform for FR. It also fits with so many outfits that I use and wear. I think it could possibly be my most worn piece of tack between it being uniform and a part in lots of outfits. So here it is - the sports saddle! Favourite decoration has to be the rainbow in a saddle bag! It’s great and I love it. It’s so cute plus it’s a reminder that there’s a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow that I can take around Jorvik with me. I was so happy when I got this from the lepricorn so shoutout to Chaun! Ah… Favourite horse… God this is always a hard one. However, this month it has to go to Jadejoy my morgan. Actually, she’s been chosen for pretty much the same reasons as the saddle! She is a part of FRs uniform and so I ride her all of the time. But she also fits in well with any outfit. Black, pink, green it all works perfectly on her (although yellow wouldn’t). She a constant reminder of FR to me and I love you to pieces Jade. Favourite update just has to be RAINBOWS! I love the rainbows in game as you can run around and do them while talking to your club and you get awesome clothes as a prize! Plus, they don’t require much effort to do. I loved the new clothes and things from the rainbow this year so it just wins hands down. My favourite quests just have to be the Thomas quests. I hope to write about them tomorrow but the animations were amazing (that kiss was on fleek). The story line was great and I’m glad that it has a happily ever after. That was the ending I would have chosen pretty much so it made me happy to play through it as I spent the whole time going “don’t end, don’t end”. The main place I’ve been this month is above the saddles at Silverglade Equestrian Centre. It’s a nice place for me to chill which I can do with the Frosties. I am normally alone up there though and I can watch everyone else running around the place like headless chickens on wheels! So that’s it! I normally do a favourite race but I haven’t really been racing this month so that would be a bit pointless. Do let me know, what have you been liking this month?

Happy New Year! I’m back tomorrow and now it’s time for monthly favourites. I did wonder about doing yearly favourites but there is too much to choose from! This months favourite item of clothing has to be the dress that came on New Year’s Eve. I normally hate dresses but I really like all of the textures on this one. It looks homemade and I really like to wear it with black and a pink Western hat! My favourite piece of tack is another thing found in the advent calendar. It’s the saddle pad. I’ve always loved this style saddle pads so a Winter version of it is perfect for me! Currently my favourite place in SSO is the table in my home stable where I can sit and think without players friending me. I can just chill with my club! My favourite race has to be the one that got me back into high scoring, Jasper’s race the other way round. Newest horse has to go to my brand new Andy, Royaltorch. I love the model and the colours. I’ve wanted her for such a long time and she’s beautiful! My favourite quest had to go to the Madison quests. They were beautifully animated and the story line was so amazing. Finally, my favourite update had to be the snow. It’s so beautiful on Jorvik with it and it makes a nice change. But I’m sure I’ll be fed up with it soon!
We’re headed into the depths of Autumn and the nights are shorter then the days. Some trees are bare and others have bold patches. The first frost has been as we say good bye to the final days of warm… And hello cold. I think you can just tell by the fact that in my blog banner I am wearing this that it’s my favourite item of clothing this month. I love the way that it looks Autumnal and warm without breeching the barrier of being for winter. Therefore, it is perfect for this time of the year. I also like any item of clothing that has multiple parts. Eg, a jacket with a shirt and a scarf underneath, breeches with socks or in this case a base layer with a body warmer. I just think in these seasons it adds an extra feeling of coziness. I was pleasantly surprised when this little cute pumpkin hopped from either the ghost or the apple bobbing (I can’t remember which). I think that it is really cute and it different from the normal spider or Halloween ribbon. Aw just look at it’s cute little face! If you are ever looking around for me, the best chance you have of finding me is at the Vineyard. I can never stay still in game! When the rest of FR are standing at Steve’s I’m running around the vines. This stops me making a fool of myself where everyone is watching! I like to do ‘vine bending’. Which is where you use the vines as poles and I like to jump over the fences, all while chatting to my club. Also the lag isn’t nearly as bad at the Equestrian Centre as it is at Steve’s. Finally, there aren’t as many people there which is good because whenever I do go to Steve’s I get “Li Li” -Friend invite- -Group invite- “Hello Li” and it is just too much! I think this has been the most frustrating quests ever, the birthday quizzes. I, actually, quite enjoyed the idea of doing a quiz for the part of the birthday outfit. I liked the mix in questions as well, as it was everything from horses, history of Jorvik, and even Mrs Holdsworth old job. However, there weren’t any proper new quests this month, which is quite sad as my favourite thing in game is new quests. But, it is a common theory that the new area and new story quests might be one of the same… Pandoria… I love Halloween. I don’t actually celebrate it in real life, so it is always lots of fun to get into the Halloween spirit in game. I love the colours, tastes, smells and the mystery. This has been the best Halloween year as last year they added a lot of the things after Halloween. But this year we got the apples, ghost train, quests, outfits, ghosts and Spider pig (all I can say is going into the dressage arena at the riding hall and look up). I am still in love with my Lipi from last month, so it is only right that she gets mentioned again! I just love the body shape, the colours and the animations of this horse. They are so smooth and graceful and they have even started to make me enjoy riding larger horses as compared to the similar sized English Thoroughbred, they are less ‘jolty’. I hope that Star Stable releases similar horses in the future. Since I have a brand new account to quest on, I have been doing the Moorland Pole bending a lot. I love Western riding and I think it should be used more in the game. I really like the race as I’m lazy and it is short but gives you 125 xp. Also it is more about control and less about the actual speed, which I also really like. Finally, it is in Moorland and if often overlooked by the normal pro racers so novices like me get a chance!
Another month, another set of favorite things that I have been loving! So what was it this month? Well: This month my favorite top has been this one. This top comes with your real Star Stable top that you wear in real life. You have to buy it and guess what my sisters got me… I loved it! However, after my birthday in April it was thrown in my wardrobe and forgotten about. it’s out again now and well loved! Recently I have been enjoying trying to make outfits that use more natural colours. So this saddle is perfect! It’s a really old saddle, the guard one, and I used to live in it as I had no other fast saddle. This month has had a lot of reappearances! This month I have been loving Steve’s paddock to hang out in with friends (mainly FR). It is the social hot spot of the server and I like to stand in the corner where I can get global chat and keep an eye on things. This month my favorite quests have been the spiders. I loved the sense of danger and I must admit I found them quite cute! Also it shows how much sso has been improved in the last 4 years and a lot. The riding hall races. My nightmare. I used to never be able to complete these races. They were to complex to remember and I would fail the jumps and everything would go wrong and Reed would laugh and cry. But it isn’t like that anymore and I’ve been spending a lot of time catching up with those races. My favorite NPC has been Landon as I have been spending a lot of time with him. I have been doing the midsummer quests everyday and he has been very nice and given my lots of rewards and thanks! Here are some of the stuff I have been loving this month. What have you been liking?
Well I've spent ages trying to get the photos, but in the end I decided I just wanted to type and write about some of my favorites this month.
So when it comes to clothes I've been loving the new stuff in the mall. Just the new feel to it all I think is lovely. I think Star Stable have really upped their game here, releasing clothing and tack that also fits with the season and goes into nice sets that don't look horrid together. I have a lot of trouble with my hair and makeup in game. But I think I've found something that's me and I like. In real life, I wear my hair in a ponytail for school. Yes I know it's kind of simple but the fact it keeps my hair out of my face and doesn't take long. So when I found this ponytail in West Cape, I fell in love and had to buy it. For my makeup I'm still with one of the makeups they give you at base game, but honestly I like them the best. I find the others too heavy. This month I've been loving hang out at the Winery. My home stable is there and myself and my bae's favorite races (Observatory and Vineyard). Also it is close to Steve's Farm (the center of Frosty Rose's club activity) but not actually there as the lag there is bad. The whole area is in global chat. I love to jump around the fields while chatting to FR and I just to really have fun. Also this month I've been doing most of my dailys everyday. This gets me lots of js (about 3000) for clothes. So a week I can normally buy myself a new set of tack and then on Saturday some new leg-wraps. Thus, over 2-3 weeks I can have a whole new outfit. Good right? Well that is what I've been liking this March. Going to London tomorrow so I'm not sure if I'll have to blog the update. I'm planning to get back before the rush hour. Night ♥️♥️ Well I missed two months of doing this, opps! Well here it is again, I hope you enjoy what I found amazing this month! Favorite place I love Crescent Moon Village in the snow. The leaves hanging off the weeping willows? I mean it is just so beautiful. I'd love to live somewhere like this. It reminds me of Valedale, the flowers, the house style. But the added Windmill makes it that bit more homely and I like the beautiful rushes in the river! Favorite race I love Marley's Competition. It is quite close (kind of) to real life jumping. Also it is close to my home stable and so I get on this track a lot. Ah, and of course it gives 250 xp. Something one mustn't gloss over! Favorite item of clothing This reminds me so much of the main story quest and of Alex and her horse. I love the colours and just how a like it is! Favorite item of tack I am a fan of the more realistic items in the game. I think that this looks very nice and real. Although it comes in many colours, I prefer the more natural brown. Favorite outfit This outfit, originally made for a photo shoot of the new leg wraps that star stable releesed, I have come to love. I found it looked nicer with the Snowy Saddle pad and a bigger coat. I went with the other outfit (ie a t-shirt) to DIno Valley with Courtney Haybridge. She wasn't impressed so I modified it for her. Hope you like it Court xx! Favorite shop Ah this shop in New Hillcrest is the best! It is just full of realistic tack items that may fit with most outfits. Also most of the things in there have high stats and so are also good for racing.
Okay, so here are my favorite things from October! I tried to keep away from too much Halloween stuff. Favorite race I just love this race with the graphics of falling down when you hit the poles. I also loved the addition of the 4 bars and I felt it was a really nice little race. Favorite place Recently I have been spending more and more time in here. I feel it is so carm and peaceful. I love it! I am so grateful to my club and being here helps me remember that! I hope in the future they will add a little shop where owns can design uniform for the club and some doors leading on to a riding hall, just for the club. Hopefully with a little café (ten seats of so) at the edge. Maybe even a way of clubs competing against each other and trophies being displayed in the cabinets Clothing item I have spent so long looking for something like this, and I found it a few days ago! It is just a normal helmet. No finary and bright colours, a simple, black, helmet. I got it from the Eco Store in West Cape (it is at the South, by the docks). It has already become part of my red outfit! Tack item I love these! I have had trouble finding an outfit to fit them with, but their colours are so brights! I was just looking around my stuff, I found them and fell in love. Sorry, no clue where I got them from! Outfit
Hair & Makeup This makeup isn't something I would wear everyday. I found my witches Halloween outfit and was looking for matching makeup. In the Halloween shops there was only a green witches one. But this one matches the witches outfit perfectly! The purple lips and the star under the eye. This hair has been great! It just keeps everything out of the way for this time of the year. It is very cheep. The hair is found at the shop next to the fashion barn and the makeup in Heavy metal scissors. Horse This is Jadejoy. I haven't had time to add him to the horses page yet, but I will do tonight! He is already level 13 (I brought him on Tuesday last week). He is getting me loads of personal bests and it so cute! He is my little baby! Update Fort Pinta's remake of course! It was lovely to see how much it had changed and I loved the little monkey quests that came with it. Also the heaps of xp and free clothes that came with SSO birthday? Yes it was a great update! Edit This was done by @piper.mcknight She is really talented and amazing at edits. Go follow her on instagram! Blog Click on the picture to see this amazing blog! It is in Swedish, but she has a translate feature on there. It is detailed and gives a nice impression on the world of SSO What were your favorite things this month? Let me know!
