So this here is my training route. I’ve recently finished training so I have no need for it but here is my route. It takes me about two hours to do but I do it in blocks.
First I start at the Equestrian Centre and then I go Marleys, Steves, Moorland, Fort Pinta, South Hoof, Epona, Greendale, Jarlaheim, Paddock Island, Jorvik Stable. I then have a rest before doing Firgrove, Valedale, Mill, Observatory, and Equestrian Centre. Finally I do the Riding Hall and Golden Hills Valley. I’ve found that doing it in blocks makes it easier as it seems a lot more manageable. On a hard day I might stop at South Hoof but not often. It takes 5 days to train a horse to level 15 if you follow that route (or do every race). But what do I wear? Well I’ve gone for an outfit that has good Swiftness and Riding but is also a nice thing to wear everyday. As through the training periods I will wear that and only that throughout the day. Rider: Tourist T-Shirt - From a quest - Free - Plus 8 riding, 1 jump, 4 command Marleys's Helmet - From a quest - free - riding 4, jump 3 Any gloves with 4 in riding (I change every time) Black jeans - Silverglade Village “The Castle” - 96 Star Coins - riding 5, jump 1 (These are the only pants in the game with riding 5) Dancing Shoes - Silverglade Equestrian Centre “The Wine Cellar” - 13 Star Coins - Riding 4, Jump 4 Horse: Black Sports Saddle - Jorvik Mall - 67 Star Coins - 3 speed, 2 agility Green Winter Bridle - From a quest - Free - 3 speed Large Snow blanket - Fort Pinta Gear - 73 Star Coins - 3 speed, 1 discipline Horse shoes from Golden Hills Valley opening quest The key to good fun training is well, making it fun. I like to set myself challenges, train with friends or listen to music. All of these help training become more enjoyable. Of course, you can always just bribe your sister with sweets. Either way works!

I thought this update was coming! Star Stable mentioned it in their show, but I must admit I didn't expect them to have a 'normal' colour when they were in the cities. I must admit, it was clever to Star Stable to make this update to stop people getting annoyed at the winner. Also this way means some people can just have a beautiful little horse and others can have the magic ones. So let's go and have a look at the three horses and decide whether to buy one. This is a beautiful little horse, I do admit I'm getting fussy about the mane again! I think it's too dark at the tips and I'm not a fab of the gradient. Also with this breed you can see how symmetrical it is. This is quite annoying as, you course, real horse aren't symmetrical. But then again, real horses aren't blue! My final moan would be for the face to have more colour, but I do love the legs, I think they're beautiful 5.5/10 All the same moans at above apart from the mane, which I love. This angle doesn't capture the rest of the purple and it leaves it looking plain. The face seems way too 'clean', more so then the other one. No that much to say if I'm honest as it was all said above! 6.1/10 Meet the horse you need no leg warps for! The symmetrical body shape isn't as clear in this one, I also feel the dark blood-red mane matches this horse perfectly. I love his red eyes as well, it really brings it all together. My one complaint is that the black horse he turns into is quite plain, but I guess that's the point. I do wish the hooves were a bit brighter (yes two moans) but there we are. 8/10 I do wish the horses were faster but they're only 400 star coins so I suppose there had to be something. I decided to get the final one, Rayoas, aka Rayo. He'll be up on my horses pages soon. I think it is great that they let us all have the horses, I think it would be a bit unfair if only two people got them ever. Say they stopped playing - the horses would of been lost. But then again, it would of been special if you were the only two to have them so I guess it could of gone either way. We'll go and look at the clothes before we beguine to train. Nine summery clothing, I can't wait to try and make some of these into outfits! The shorts aren't as bad as always and I think on the middle right there might be a phone or something poking out the pocket! I also like the bottom right shoes and the bottom middle outfit. The top left shorts are cool but I don't see me making them into an outfit. All in all a wonderful update! I spent all day at school thinking about the update (yes I was bored) and I thought it would be new colours, and I was right! (Makes me happy hahaha!) So I knew I wasn't going to buy another Welsh, I love The Doctor very much but that doesn't mean I want another one. Okay so let's go and look at the new ponies! I must say I love the eyes on this one! I'm a big fan of the coat and mane, I love the colours and textures, but I'm not so sure they fit together. The mane looks like my hair though! I do feel like this colour makes the muscles on the Welsh look to sharp and angular, but maybe it's just me complaining because I don't really like the ginger horses on SSO. I, however, love the eyes. Look at them and you see a naughty and shy little pony, who maybe has the determination behind him/her to win. 6/10 Yes, I've decided that the muscles on this breed are far too pronounced. The lines are just too dark. However, I really like this ones face (besides the odd marks), as the nose has the tiniest patch of pink, which I find cute. Also the mane is nice, but I'd rather the skin was a bit darker. I guess you have to draw a line between the grey and the dapple. 6.5/10 Aww, I love this ones stripe. Also I love the colour of the coat as I feel lit almost balances out the dark lines, and I love the way the legs are dark instead of socks. However, I'm not so sure on the mane as it looks like they ran out of ran and just put in a gradient and added some texture. Not too much to say beyond that I like it. 7/10 Yes as you can see, I'm not a fan of the mane-coat combinations and I also don't like the dark lines, sadly that means that I'm not fond of these horses, but I think that's just Li being fussy! Ahaha! Well I like the clothes so let's have a look. Well I actually really liked the clothes. I liked the colour theme and I'm a massive fan of those closed over, trainer like, shoes. The boots look good for riding and the open ones will be great for summer! I like the leg wraps, but as normal they are so expensive that I hardly know if it's worth it.
Today there were also two codes SSOINSTAGRAM and QUEENOFREDEEM, together worth 350 star coins, YAY! This update was okay, some nice clothes and 350 star coins, very not so keen on the horses. Until next time, bye! Well what a nice surprise to log on to, a brand new horse in Fort Pinta! It's only here for today so it's on a special 25 star coin offer. This is going to be amazing! Just look at those stats! I mean barging. However, I'm currently only level 18, not level 1205 and I'm only admired with Fort Pinta. I wish this beauty could come home with me. :( 13/10
So yesterday the beautiful new English thoroughbreds came to Jovik. They cost 890 sc (why is it all the new horses cost so much) and two are at Crescent Moon Village and thank god at least one is not in Epona, and is in Fort Pinta. Well isn't this one the little beauty? I think he is very hansom. Not much to say if I'm honest, however, I thin he is just a bit too plain for me, but a very smart horse, I can see some clubs using this. 4/5 Well we haven't seen a pattern like this since the Arabians came out. It is nice to have it back. I was about to buy this, but when I looked at its mane and saw it is blue? I don't want a horse with a blue mane haha. Around game however I have seen people who have had the cleaver idea of putting the mane up so it looks fine. I most admit I wish I'd thought of this at the time. 3/5 Normally you see me hate the ginger horses. I often find the coat and the mane are too similar and just not enough colour across the horse. However this one has some lovely socks and a blaze which makes the colour a lot better. I see that the mane is also a different colour to the coat, a lovely surprise, I'm so happy with this horse I think I'll take him home! 5/5 Well come to the family Copperkiss, aka Can. I really like the size on the ETBs, however I'm not such I fan of the way their hind wiggles as you ride! I do, however, like the nice long strides and the smooth jump. We also have two sets of tack to buy to match your new ETB, for me I didn't buy any as I found it too expensive, but I think they are quite nice. Especially if the saddle and bridal where worn with something else. Liking the way that tack now is starting to have 3 or even 4 colours on.
Well I missed two months of doing this, opps! Well here it is again, I hope you enjoy what I found amazing this month! Favorite place I love Crescent Moon Village in the snow. The leaves hanging off the weeping willows? I mean it is just so beautiful. I'd love to live somewhere like this. It reminds me of Valedale, the flowers, the house style. But the added Windmill makes it that bit more homely and I like the beautiful rushes in the river! Favorite race I love Marley's Competition. It is quite close (kind of) to real life jumping. Also it is close to my home stable and so I get on this track a lot. Ah, and of course it gives 250 xp. Something one mustn't gloss over! Favorite item of clothing This reminds me so much of the main story quest and of Alex and her horse. I love the colours and just how a like it is! Favorite item of tack I am a fan of the more realistic items in the game. I think that this looks very nice and real. Although it comes in many colours, I prefer the more natural brown. Favorite outfit This outfit, originally made for a photo shoot of the new leg wraps that star stable releesed, I have come to love. I found it looked nicer with the Snowy Saddle pad and a bigger coat. I went with the other outfit (ie a t-shirt) to DIno Valley with Courtney Haybridge. She wasn't impressed so I modified it for her. Hope you like it Court xx! Favorite shop Ah this shop in New Hillcrest is the best! It is just full of realistic tack items that may fit with most outfits. Also most of the things in there have high stats and so are also good for racing.
I found this while reading through the old blog posts on Star stable's website. It really made me think. Every horse on this list has been released. Accept one. The Lipizzaner. A Lipizzaner is a dressage horse. They are known for their performances, for example, the airs above ground. The games dressage isn't very good at the moment. It s horse to practice in the Riding Hall since the letters aren't placed evenly. I understand also that adding a whole dressage mode to the game would be hard, but with the Icelandics Star Stable have proved it can be done. What if the Lipizzaner horse had a kind of dressage mode. In this dressage mode you wold be able to do things such as a working trot. Just things that would make dressage in game more enjoyable. Even adding a kind of dressage race, a seen in Star Stable Spring Rider. We know it can be done, it is now just a question of will it be done. I rather hope so. All I can do it ask Star Stable support, and I hope that as many of you do too, and let's bring dressage to Star Stable!
Hello! So, yesterday we had 3 beautiful new horses arriving in Jovick. I have to admit, I am surprised that Star Stable hadn't hinted that they might be coming. But, I guess since it isn't a new breed this kind of makes sense. So we saw three new horses, a Shire, Arab and Morgan. I have (as you will be able to tell from other blog posts) not the Shire's number one fan. I just find them too big and clumpy. So it will come as no shock that I am not fond of this one. However, if I preferred this horse, I still wouldn't like it much as I find it too white? I mean, if you're going to put black on a horse, but a good amount on, or none at all! I think it would be a lot nicer if it, at least, had a black spot on it's face. But I'm sure there are Shire lovers out there who would love a horse like this! 4/10 As a big fan of both rustic colours and Arabians, this is the perfect horse for me! I love the blaze, but also the redy-brown colour. I do wish, however, that there was a bit more colour on the legs since they are quite similar in colour at the front But I guess the back ones gives it a nice bit of contrast. Maybe something slightly odd, but I love the fringe! It looks so wind-swept and I don't really know, just quite nice. It is smart, but still messy. I think I might buy this horse in the future. But only time will tell. 8.5/10 Well well well. A new morgan. Another one! I think this colouring was first brought out with the Icelandics, and it must of proved popular since here it is again with the morgan. It is, however, a slightly darker, more caramely colour, which I must say I prfer. The mane it a good contrast to the coat. But Li is back again with the same problem, it is too samey. The mussel brakes it down on the face, but besides that! Aha, I prefer broken colour horses. 8/10 Personally, I don't think I will be buying any of these horses. I quite liked them, and I am inclined towards the Arabian. But I think I'll wait for a new breed altogether. But I'm sure all three of these horses will have homes in may players stables around Jovick!
So we saw three new coloured Icelandics (now known to the players as Iceys) have come to Jovick. Let's go to Epona and take a look. As always with the greys in the game, their mane is never quite right. It is too similar to their body. I do like the colour I just wish the mane didn't almost blend in the the mane body of the horse. For some reason when I look at this horse I think "Icethorn"/ I don't know if that is a name on star stable, but I think it should be as it suits this little guys perfectly! 5/10 Meet Cookie! I'm sorry but "cookie" just fits. Unlike the above, I loved the mane on this one. I liked the way t had three different layers and the way those layers fell together. I was also worried that this would be a replica of the 350 Chincoteague Pony. The bands around the body. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by this horse and the broken colours! 8/10 This one is very nice and I love the colours. But the old spoiler, the horse is symmetrical. Why? Why? These are nice horses and yet they have to look the same on both sides ruins them. I like the tail on this one. The different colours in it complement each other wonderfully.
With all these new horses out I bet lots of you are having second thoughts on buying the first set of Icelandics. Well here is a little 100 star coins to help you save up again ДедМороз. The Icelandics are out and, after much debate, brought a dapple grey! I found the ginger a bit funny as I felt the mane didn't really match, the brown one I loved so much, but in the end settled with grey. I changed to mane a few minutes after buying her and felt it really gave her a different, nicer, appearance. Well I love Siennastar and also loved to new horse names added! 9/10 for the breed.
Okay, so here are my favorite things from October! I tried to keep away from too much Halloween stuff. Favorite race I just love this race with the graphics of falling down when you hit the poles. I also loved the addition of the 4 bars and I felt it was a really nice little race. Favorite place Recently I have been spending more and more time in here. I feel it is so carm and peaceful. I love it! I am so grateful to my club and being here helps me remember that! I hope in the future they will add a little shop where owns can design uniform for the club and some doors leading on to a riding hall, just for the club. Hopefully with a little café (ten seats of so) at the edge. Maybe even a way of clubs competing against each other and trophies being displayed in the cabinets Clothing item I have spent so long looking for something like this, and I found it a few days ago! It is just a normal helmet. No finary and bright colours, a simple, black, helmet. I got it from the Eco Store in West Cape (it is at the South, by the docks). It has already become part of my red outfit! Tack item I love these! I have had trouble finding an outfit to fit them with, but their colours are so brights! I was just looking around my stuff, I found them and fell in love. Sorry, no clue where I got them from! Outfit
Hair & Makeup This makeup isn't something I would wear everyday. I found my witches Halloween outfit and was looking for matching makeup. In the Halloween shops there was only a green witches one. But this one matches the witches outfit perfectly! The purple lips and the star under the eye. This hair has been great! It just keeps everything out of the way for this time of the year. It is very cheep. The hair is found at the shop next to the fashion barn and the makeup in Heavy metal scissors. Horse This is Jadejoy. I haven't had time to add him to the horses page yet, but I will do tonight! He is already level 13 (I brought him on Tuesday last week). He is getting me loads of personal bests and it so cute! He is my little baby! Update Fort Pinta's remake of course! It was lovely to see how much it had changed and I loved the little monkey quests that came with it. Also the heaps of xp and free clothes that came with SSO birthday? Yes it was a great update! Edit This was done by @piper.mcknight She is really talented and amazing at edits. Go follow her on instagram! Blog Click on the picture to see this amazing blog! It is in Swedish, but she has a translate feature on there. It is detailed and gives a nice impression on the world of SSO What were your favorite things this month? Let me know!
Today I took Loves out for a hack. I think too many players forget their starters and it makes me sad as remember the times when it was just you and them? When any other horse seemed like a distant dream? Well we have a really good today. Not that it was easy! First I had to go to the field to catch her. All the way through the bog and then I remembered I didn't untie her mane after the show! Opps! So I had to brush it out all over again, once I had taken her to the stable. After a quick brush and I had tacked up, it was time to leave. Then is was time for a warm up. 4 times around in walk, 5 in trot and 2 in canter. After a few practice turns. Then I started dressage. Levade! We then did some serpentines, including the Golden Serpentine! We then practised circles that took up half the hall, but in a walk! It was hard to get an even curve without seaming jerky. But we got there is the end. Fly changes and we even did a corbette! Loves feels jumpy!
So Star Stable has now released the Shire horse. You can buy it in three colours from Paddock Island and Fort Pinta. I found in Fort Pinta it slightly strange that the horse wasn't in a stall. I mean just across from the stable, like in Valedale, is one thing. But 50 meters away? My favorite one is the brown one as I feel it is slightly more toned down then the black one and it has almost pure white feathers. I also like the highlights in the brown ones mane and I like the gingery feathers on the ginger one. I like the way you can see their muscles a lot more then the other horses, and they are huge! The thing that did kind of make me sad was the fact that they added no new horse graphics. Although the Shire flicks it mane, grazes and very cutely twitches it eats, is all very nice, it isn't new and therefore, isn't that exciting. Also they used the way the new Morgan rears high and tucks up their legs when they jump. I don't really think it matches a horse of this size. The Shire horse isn't for me. They are beautiful horses but I have never been interested in the bigger breeds and I feel swapped when on the Shires back. What do you think? Thanks to Eva Rainwatcher and Darkqueen for posing for this photo :D
So all in all I think it was an okay update. A few quests have come out with the horse market arriving at Jovick Stable, but nothing new. They also added new tack to the mall, but I can never tell what is old and what is new. Although, I have found some very cute jeans and trousers there. Maybe I will show you them soon? Enjoy the Star Coins guys! Will you be buying a new horse today? Will it be your new fav horse? Well this is mine:
Thanks to everyone who voted. It was pretty close run with the AQH and the APH. Almost everyone knew which pony was their fav though. So here it is: APH: SO, so, so close but the winner was: I'd like to say that was close but umm....it wasn't. This little one won outright! And the one that I will get tonight...my new champs horse and club horse...the one who will be joining tonight...the person who will be the newest member of my family is... duhdu duhdu duhdu So I will do a blog piece for him / her tonight or tomorrow.
Good night The Cookie Monster xoxo Hey guys, So on Monday I trained Winterruner up to level 15 and she got her lovely carrot. I hope, on Monday, to buy a AQH for the speed. Then I would love to buy a broken coloured pony. Still deciding between a Jovick Pony or a Chincoteague Pony. I would then like to buy an American Paint horse. As newer horses come out a I probibally will change this order around a bit. I know not maybe people read this blog, but it would be great if some people could vote on my AQH, Pony and Paint. As I am really stuck! **!!Photo credit to SSO database!!** (Click on an image to see its letter) |
