“LET IT GO, LET IT GO, I’M ONE WITH THE WIND AND SKYYYY,” Jafa screamed over Skype. Between her singing and Skype breaking up, the tune had all but been obliterated. I laughed along with Kitti, the other girl in the call. She was sharing her screen while editing a photo of the “Jorvik veterinary practice”. Lots of cute cats, dogs and rabbits were littered around the photo and she was in the process of adding a pig with a bandaged hoof. I was editing yesterday’s vlog and Jafa was in theory revising - but of course she wasn’t.
“Jafa, you have a maths test tomorrow,” Kitti told her sternly. Kitti is basically my second Mum - like she is to all members of Saturn Stars. She practically forces us to do our homework and to get to bed on time. We get along well as she’s a YouTuber IRL like me but unlike me she’s 21 so I heard Jafa groan down the other end of the microphone. I finished the vlog and edited up the thumbnail before uploading it. It was almost 6:30 so I’d be hard pressed to get it up on time. “Christellia, you need to feed Puzzle,” Jess called from her office. I sighed and bid goodbye to Jafa (who still wasn’t revising) and Kitti before wandering off into the black and white tiled kitchen to feed my cat. He mewed happily as the cat biscuits stumbled over themselves to fall into his bowl. Rubbing himself against my leg affectionately, he started to eat. I grabbed my phone and got a boomerang of him for my story, posting it with the cat emoji. Deciding that I’d spent long enough starring at my screen, I settled down on a hanging chair laden with pillows (the coolest thing in the world) and started reading Lord of the Shadows. I loved the Shadow Hunter books and was dangerously behind with them. Just as I was turning the page to chapter three, Jess called up the stairs, “Dinner is ready!”. Hopping off the chair, I raced down the stairs where Jess was serving cauliflower steaks with potato wedges. It might sound disgusting but it really isn’t - trust me. Jess grinned at me and we slipped into our normal relaxed conversation. I lay in bed, feet in the air, checking through my Instagram feed. I started to do a quick edit of my SSO character as a Shadow Hunter. I doodled a stele in her hand and marks trailing up her arms. I let my pen tie her hair up in a bun and add fly aways carefully. Adding the last touches of detail to her gear, I exported the photo and emailed it to myself to post on IG. I added the caption “Christelle Lightwood, your local demon slayer” before posting. Within 30 second I had received 10 likes. Emma replied to the post saying, “Do one of Emma Herondale!” she begged. I smiled, clear that she liked my previous photo. Using a similar base, I gave her her short spiky red hair with her red eyes - maybe I should have turned her into a demon. It only took about half an hour because I’d basically already done most of it for my own edit. I sent the photo to her over WhatsApp because the quality would be better. She thanked me and when I next look at her YouTube channel I saw that it had become her PP. As my head had started to pound, I lay it down on the pillow just to rest it but within 3 minutes I was fast asleep.

Do you ever look at the areas that are undiscovered and wonder where they are? Well, I do - all the time. I (think) that I have discovered all areas possible and yet there are still four areas marked as "undiscovered". The first one is "prison island". I've spoken about this already as it is in Pandoria and we know we'll see it soon. The second one isn't named. There are apparently "two ancient forts". This makes me think of the middle of Fort Maria or Kings Road in Golden Hills Valley. But, I'm not sure. There are quite a few places it could be and more to come out. I think that Bread Island is somewhere in Epona but is locked. I think it's the place with all of the diggers and things. These could be some quite interesting quests with the Butterfield's as it says that it's their island. The final one is believed to be in Dino Valley but SSO have confirmed that it isn't out.
I think it's annoying that they release areas before they are released. What do you think? Hey there! I’m still on holiday but I have enough internet connection to write this. SPOILERS will certainly be coming up but no photos or anything because my internet isn’t strong enough to handle them. I have a video of the quests which I plan to edit today but I won’t upload until I get back on the 20th.
PANDORIA!! I loved these quests so so so much. Honestly - 5 gold stars to SSO for them. The portals were so cool and I loved the stuff in between them (although I think I could have got to DV quicker than the time it took to set up the portal but oh well). The Stonecutters cave was truly amazing and finding out a little bit more about Ancient Jorvik was well worth it because it was so cool. I loved the passage ways covered in ivy that you could run through in particular and I believe we are still able to go there even though the quests are over. Going into the actual Pandoria was just simply amazing. You’ll have to wait for the video to hear me freaking out. The colours, textures and ideas were amazing. The Stingrays were so cute and I loved the paths that were above the ground. I also loved the mushrooms because the spores were actually so pretty. There is too much stuff to mention if I’m honest - the glowing trees, the Pandoric lava so you’ll have to wait for my photos and the video. Finding Anne was awesome but so sad - she looked so lonely in the crystal but it inspired me to start a fan fiction about it so that’s cool. It was such a plot twist that Darko came along and that Anne had given up hope AND WE FINALLY GOT TO SEE GARNOK. Oh my God. That was so cool. The race was a bit like in SSL 4 so that’s a nice recycled idea there. I failed it so many times because I kept stopping to take photos! When we finally got through, we got to see Fripp’s magic as he destroyed the keystone to suck Darko and Garnok back into Pandoria to stop them taking me. I thought Fripp had died but he was actually just badly hurt so Elizabeth took him to give him time to recover - totally not what I expected, so cool. But before he died he told us to find Evergrey who, I found out from Avalon, was an outcast druid so we’re waiting on him being told to come back to Valedale. Eeeeek, exciting. I can’t praise these quests enough. Amazing story line. Amazing animation. And an amazing area - Pandoria. They were totally worth the wait because you could see the work that had gone into them. Now we still need to hear what’s happened on Justin’s trial and we need to still rescue Anne. I hope in the future Pandoria will be open outside story quests because it really is a truly amazing area. If we get to see Anne by the end of 2017 and get a new area (hints towards the Mountains of Jor) I’ll be a happy bunny! This is sad. I was training on an alt and I came 0th. I wish I could have an actual placing. I don’t just mean in the top 20. I think that we should be able to see where we are out of all the players in the server that have done that race. So you could be told you placed 103rd or something. I understand listing all of the players would be hard so if you get under 20th then it just says your place instead of saying zero if you get me? I’m not phrasing this very well haha. It would give lower level players something to aim for because they could aim for being in the top 50 rather than being in the top 20. They can’t get in the top 20 as they’re not fast enough but it would keep them interested in racing which I think is a really good thing. It would also be interesting to see how you were doing compared to the whole server!
This is the first time I’ve ever wondered this which is good because I go past this so many times - we all do. What are they building at Firgrove? You can see sand bag and diggers which show it’s something big, as well at metal crates. We know that GED have been in the area because of the house that the tourists now live at. So it’s a high possibility that it could be GED trying to build something but here’s another theory. People are trying to build a tunnel through the mountain to get to the mountains of Jor. Maybe this is part of the same operation as they improve Jorvik’s transport. If so, I hope to get answers when we FINALLY unlock the mountains of Jor.
What do you think is in this area? I don’t see many bloggers in the community and I’ve been thinking about the reason and I think I’ve found it. Blogging is harder than IG or YT. Last week I got 5,500 views on my blog WHICH IS CRAZY so I thought it was time for me to share some.
1. Never upload something you’re not happy with. I used to spend ages on posts I didn’t enjoy and I hated the results just because I thought people would like it (even though I had like 3 readers). 2. Blog what you enjoy. I like reading bloggers whose personality shines through their writing because they LOVE what they’re writing. 3. Write what you think. Lots of bloggers tend to be quite close with SSO so they don’t write their actual opinions, they write what will please SSO. I write what I think but at first I didn’t and I wish I did but I do know! 4. Find a time that works for you to write. I only like writing around 10 - 12 at night - that’s what works for me. Some people enjoy writing in the morning, at lunch, when they get home from school - any time. 5. Just get started. I’m guessing most people reading this haven’t got a blog. Well just make one and just enjoy it. Go, now. Get blogging! New fan fiction but very different this time as it's set in the real world. Little disclaimer, any mention of names of actual YouTube channels, other social media pages, real SSO players, real clubs or anything else is entirely coincidental and it is not meant to reflect negatively upon that person(s).
“Bristol is actually the rainiest place in the world,” I thought to myself, sitting down in front of my laptop with a large packet of Doritos balanced at one side. Normally, I’d be straight on SSO but it was a Wednesday and the servers were still down. Flicking my mouse over to Sims 4, I started getting up my gaming equipment. Yes, I’m Christellia’s Space on YouTube with the adjoining channels of Christellia’s Games and Christellia’s Life for gaming and vlogs. Oh, and I’m also Christelle Macson - that’s my Star Stable name and channel. Before I started the recording, I checked my hair and put on my headset. It’s sort of weird being 15, almost 16, and yet being just as famous on the Internet as much older YouTubers. If you’re wondering, that’s 2 million on my main, about 1 million on my vlogging and almost 950K on my gaming. After recording the video, I decided to edit yesterday’s vlog. “Hi guys, it’s time for me to smash out the edit of yesterday’s vlog and then plan for the day is a bit of school before I have a secret project I need to work on,” I said, updating my vlog about what I was doing. Once I’d finished designing the thumbnail for the vlog, I realised that the servers would be up. My Instagram feed was covered in photos of the cute new style Arabians and I couldn’t wait. I checked the Saturn Stars chat which was overrun by ranting, mostly directed by Emma, at the new horses. ME: Em, I think they’re cute <3 EM: But so damn expensive, like come on SSO we aren’t all little money bags. I mean, SC cost so much but it wouldn’t be as bad if the things in game was cheaper. Saturn Stars isn’t a normal club on SSO. It only has 5 members, Kitti (the owner), Emma - Em- , Lilli, Freja - Jafa - and myself. We’re all quite happy with it like that and we haven’t gained a member for over a year now. I bought the 3 new Arabians and filmed it ready for my twice weekly upload on my SSO along with a few things trotting along with the 4 other club members. Then, it was time to climb! We decided to climb around Devil’s Gap as Jafa was a blogger and she hadn’t seen it before. We stumbled up the rock with a lot of crashing and swearing. Lilli was first up, not really any surprise as she’s our local Spider Man. After that I logged and turned to give Puzzel, my cat, a big hug and I spent some time talking to him - all of which was vlogged, of course. My older sister, Jess came over, talking intently to her vlogging camera. Jess is 24 and has taken care of me since I was 12. Although legally she’s my mother, we’re half sisters but act like full ones. “Ellia, I made you dinner, it’s out of the side,” she told me, switching her camera off and putting it on the side. “Oh, thanks,” I replied, heading into the kitchen because my stomach was rumbling away. I sighed, my SSO time was over and now it was time to get back to reality - even if SSO was a lot better! With the brand new story quests coming out soon, I thought it is important that people understand the backstory and know what happened before. Therefore, before the story quests come out I suggest that you watch this video by Northena. SSO has a rich history so take the time to understand it! (This video in no way belongs to me, all of the credit to the actual owner.) This is the 7th post I’ve written today but the first to actually be posted. If you’re wondering why, it’s because I’ve been preparing posts for when I go away tomorrow. I hope I’ll have internet but I can’t be sure. So today SSO posted a very exciting thing on their Instagram. It was this: The caption was “There's an energy stirring... But are you prepared for what awaits? #ThroughThePortal “. This confirms that the photo is going into Pandoria. This is super exciting! Interestingly, people have found another portal in Dino Valley so I wonder what will happen with that… Maybe we’ll have to aline the portal or something - I don’t know. I can’t wait to go into Pandora though and FINALLY get to meet Anne. But when will we get this awesome new area? Well, I’m hoping within the UK Summer holidays because on the star stable show they said that they wouldn’t be back until Autumn unless…
Well, it’s time for my rant about the new horses…right? Well, I decided not to rant about them that much, therefore I’m not doing my normal in depth review. They lack detail, are plastics and are just horrible - in my opinion. Tomorrow, I hope to write a letter to SSO politely explaining why I want nicer horses in the future. Since the main bulk of this update was the horses, I found this video which I think just shows how much they copied the horse from the English Thorougher but I LIKED the ETB but I don’t like this before the ETB had much detail, more texture. I really want the old style of horses back, lippus, iceys - that was a golden era. (This video in no way belongs to me, but feel free to go and subscribe to the owner of the video, she’s an amazing YouTuber). Another thing is, now one of the horses will be available for 4 weeks in a non star rider area for all levels to get. I think that this is nice to give all players a chance to at least get the breed but to also make sure that the players that have played longer have a better choice of horses because it wouldn’t really be fair otherwise. Also, I hope this stops people glitching into higher areas. Finally, as it’s the 300th update, SSO have released an awesome code. Three items. Hat, top and gloves and they all look quite nice as well. I think this makes up for the horses! What did you think of the new horses?
Here’s a little tip for all aspiring club owners. Make time for people. Love your club. Each individual person. Love them and fight for them. You’re allowed to get annoyed at them. You’re allowed tell them off for causing issues. But in the end, if anyone insults, hurts or otherwise a member of your club, your family, you HAVE to have that almost maternal instinct to “fend them off” and cheer up your club members. It makes me sad when a member of my club is sad. But it makes me happy when we’re all joking around. If you chuck 50 teenagers in a club together there will be drama - get over it. Your aim should be that at the end of drama both parties feel that you dealt with it fairly and that they’ve learned their lesson but that you don’t love them any less for it. Make time for people regardless of who they are in the club - their rank. Love your members like you’d love your family and in return they’ll love the club and each other and you. THAT’S the way to a “successful” club - nothing else.
