On the 12th of July, 2015, I was reading Alicia Starnight’s blog and I loved it. After hours of scrolling through the pages, I thought of recreating my SSO blog that I made a couple of months before and now, here it is! It’s so weird knowing that I have 200 readers - honestly if you’re reading this thank you so much. Blogging is a bit of an escape from the hassle of IRL. Almost everyday, I take 10 minutes to sit down and have a little rant or just have my say on what I want. So I thought I’d show you a few blog posts “through the ages” and I (hope) you’ll see how I’ve changed, this is word for word, awful spelling and grammar included! This is a nice little walk down memory lane for me so I hope that you enjoy as well.
“Set up a wonderful little fair full of food and a bonfire. Perfect for all those Summer Parties and weddings that are sure to be happening around this time of year !! There is even a Green pole to do some rather unusal dancing around! There is also a shop” - My first post, 12th July 2015, Midsummer Festival “Ummm.... yh...... beach glasses? Beach googles? Snow Googles? Yh. I will buy these when the snow falls on Jovick. They will be perfect!” - 26th July 2015, reviewing clothes. “Well I'll probally be up on a mountain today!” - 11th August 2015, yes, that is literally the whole post. “Look at this, a gimps into the West side of the map. In a few weeks they will open the South section, but I found this beautiful. I love the trees. I love the trees everywhere, and I love that each place have a slightly different tree. No doubt I will be talking about the merits of each tree when Fort Moria! I hope this area will come with Jovick City! “ - 24th October 2015, I was talking about different trees in game. “With all these new horses out I bet lots of you are having second thoughts on buying the first set of Icelandics. Well here is a little 100 star coins to help you save up again ДедМороз.” - 9th January 2016, I was talking about different trees in game. “Much to everyone's surprise I decided to run a Western event. Western riding in the game is often just looked over, and people normally do Cross Country, dressage and show jumping, which are all forms of English riding. Like English riding there are many forms of Western. We normally do Pole bending and barrel racing. But I taught everyone some trail and reining. It went very well and we got n event I'd planned for an hour in 45 minutes.” - 14th April 2016, Western event “It seems that it was forever ago that I wrote my last post. I’ve been playing tennis all week and I get home and I flop on the sofa. Then I log on to see my little frosty buds (ie the club I am in, Frosty Roses), then I’m so tired I sleep. I’ve seen the update and I’m looking forward to do it tomorrow when I should have a bit more time. I’m actually quite excited for more quests over on South Hoof as it’s been a while. However, I’m a lifetime vegetarian (never had meat) so fishing isn’t my thing!” - 17th August 2016, Update review “It can take a very long time to find the perfect outfit and looks good together. You spend 30 minutes running across the map for clothes and piecing it together. You go to stand at Steve’s with your friends before logging off. You can back on to find, to your horror, that one of those friends is being complemented on your outfit. They took 3 minutes to make it because all they had to do it get the clothes, not actually design it. That is creative work that you have taken.” - 19th December 2016, ranting about outfit copying I think I’ll stop there as I haven’t really changed much since then. Weirdly, in the past year I’ve barely changed. I can read the posts and still remember writing a lot of them. I think my writing has improved somewhat but not by leaps and bounds, as it did in the beginning. Well, I have some club photos to edit so tara!
